The Phi Phi Islands and Maya Bay are an archipelago of six islands in the Andaman Sea, near the coast of southern Thailand.
The Phi Phi Islands are a popular tourist destination and are part of Krabi Province. Phi Phi Islands is a limestone island and has several mountain peaks. The tallest peak is the highest point on the island at 689 meters. Phi Phi Don is the largest and most populated island in the group. The islands are well known for their excellent beaches and the beauty of their coral reefs. Maya Bay is a bay in Thailand's Ko Phi Phi islands and Maya Bay group. It is a world-famous site, which was a popular filming location for the 2000 film "The Beach".
